CIP Global Executive Search has been assigned to recruit a CEO for a Nordic retail company
Company Description
The company is a leading player in its market, focusing on the design, sales, and production of high-quality products. The group consists of several strong brands, operates approximately 30 sales locations globally, and is active in both B2B and B2C markets.
The company strives to be as circular and locally produced as possible, both through its business model and its own manufacturing facilities, supported by sales offices across Europe.
Position Overview
As CEO, you hold overall responsibility for sales, personnel, and P&L. The executive team is located across multiple countries; therefore, experience in remote leadership is an advantage, although the majority of operations are managed from the main office.
You will provide a strategic perspective on sales, resources, operational flows, and customer experience. At the same time, you ensure high quality, efficiency, and safety across all sales channels and leadership functions.
You lead senior managers responsible for day-to-day sales operations and play a key role in developing a scalable and high-performing sales organization. The role covers both B2B and B2C.
The company offers a strategic key leadership position where strong business acumen is combined with a values-driven and hands-on leadership style. You will have the opportunity to influence structure, ways of working, and future direction in an organization with clear growth ambitions, where sales is seen as a key enabler of continued development and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the company’s operations and contribute to its long-term strategic development as part of the executive leadership team
* Define direction and drive the development of the sales organization, with a focuson scalability, resource optimization, and efficient workflows
* Lead and implement improvement initiatives within the sales function
* Ensure execution of KPIs, strategies, and business objectives according to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Be responsible for budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring of key financial and operational metrics
* Ensure a safe and healthy work environment across the organization
* Oversee talent development and recruitment within the organization
* Report results, KPIs, and development initiatives to owners and the board Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience leading growth-oriented companies
* Strong track record of both operational and strategic decision-making, with a hands-on leadership approach
* Solid understanding of planning, resource allocation, quality, safety, and operational workflows
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
