Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded operational leader with a strong international background in e-commerce, retail operations, and organizational development. This role carries global responsibility across multiple international markets and functions.

As COO, you will play a central role in driving operational excellence, business growth, and cross-functional alignment throughout the organization. The role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize processes, strengthen operational infrastructure, and ensure efficient collaboration between departments including e-commerce, logistics, customer operations, finance, and marketing.

You will oversee operational performance across both established and developing international markets, ensuring scalable structures, strong execution capabilities, and a customer-centric approach across all channels.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the company’s global operational strategy and execution.

• Ensure efficient and scalable operational processes across international markets.

• Oversee budgeting, performance management, and operational profitability.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration between e-commerce, logistics, customer operations, marketing, finance, and technology teams.

• Develop operational structures, workflows, and support functions to enable sustainable growth.

• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs and business performance to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead organizational development initiatives and strengthen internal ways of working.

• Ensure operational readiness and alignment across markets and business units.

• Support the executive leadership team in strategic planning and execution.

• Contribute to building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer experience.

Profile and experience:

• Extensive international operational leadership experience within e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer business models.

• Strong understanding of digital operations, logistics, customer experience, and organizational development.

• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for cross-functional teams and international operations.

• Experience working in owner-led and value-driven organizations is considered an advantage.

• Strong business and financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.

• High level of digital maturity and understanding of operational systems and workflows.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.

• Strong cultural awareness and experience operating in global environments.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.

• Relevant academic degree.
