Job Description
As Björn Borg’s Category Manager for Underwear, your responsibility will be to create the best Assortment according to our Product Promise and Assortment Strategy Plan. You will lead the Assortment creation of their underwear assortment, setting the perfect balance between innovation, newness and carry over styles. You will have direct contact with your product team. In this role you work alongside the Design team, Product Development team, Sourcing team and Sales team, being a part of Björn Borg’s Category Management team, creating the future for their Underwear collection.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Drive product assortment creation, according to set KPI´s and timelines
- Practical category management and administration
- Drive product innovation
- Staying up to date with Björn Borg’s markets and competitors.
- Ensuring that the underwear assortment aligns with the product promise
- Drive reduction of sustainability footprint
- PLM management
Profile and Experience:
- Bachelor in Textile economics, Buying degree or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Category Manager within apparel
- Previous experience with Underwear is meritorious
- Proven track record of driving an assortment strategy successfully
- Proven track record of an innovative, self-starting mindset with an ability to lead products through the full development process towards Category KPI´s
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of English language skills, both verbal and written
