CIP global executive search has been assigned to recruit a CFO for a FMCG company.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure that bookkeeping is carried out continuously and accurately at all times.
- Financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to the CEO and management team.
- Analyze the company’s financial development and performance against budget and forecasts.
- Drive the company’s financial agenda within the management team through a dedicated role in management meetings, including preparation of decision-making materials and preliminary documentation.
- Responsible for liquidity planning and cash flow management.
- Lead and oversee the budgeting process, including budget preparation and financial forecasts.
- Identify and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business plans.
- Main point of contact for coordination with external auditors and other financial advisors.
- Responsible for the company’s financial systems and support systems for financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with banks and ensure the company financing.
- Ongoing bookkeeping.
- Prepare Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Proactively identify and manage financial risks such as currency fluctuations, credit risks, liquidity, and inventory.
- Conduct cost and revenue analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making regarding potential optimizations, investments, and expansion plans.
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for all companies in the group (including consolidated financial reporting).
- Define requirements and lead the project to implement a new financial system.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in a financial role within a larger company.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting is a requirement.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or equivalent is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or equivalent spreadsheet programs.
- Strong understanding of and interest in financial and accounting systems and platforms.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Experience from a major auditing firm is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers worldwide.
- Strong financial understanding.
