Job Profile
The role as CMO is instrumental for the company in terms of leading the brand and marketing strategy and positioning, as well as linking the marketing- and the sales department. You will have full ownership of the marketing strategy and budget, delivering on business and brand objectives throughout all channels. You should therefore have a solid understanding of leading brand strategies, the marketing matrix, digital channels, and physical stores as well as go to market strategies.
As CMO, you will lead the development and implementation of the brand and communication strategy within all consumer touchpoints end to end, including launch and concept creative. You will transform the design and brand vision into a compelling marketing strategy and a creative concept driving the 360-consumer experience within the FMCG segment. You will also align with commercial teams and ensure delivery of the go to market concepts by channel and business objectives.
Main Tasks and responsibilities
- Develop, manage and implement the global brand and marketing strategy including PR, in accordance with design and product vision and business objectives.
- Develop and implement the brand identity and communication strategy for all online, offline and CRM channels ensuring exceptional 360-consumer experience.
- Lead the retail concept and content creation, development and implementation including managing external creative agencies and budgets.
- Develop the go-to-market and launch strategies ensuring correct priorities and focus, including asset development and key media section.
- Regular review and management of all marketing KPI’s and budgets.
Qualifications and experience
- A higher-level degree or equivalent educational experience is preferred.
- Experience the FMCG sector on either European or Global level.
- 5 + years in a similar position.
- Strong brand building experience and digital capabilities.
- Proven track record of accomplishment in a similar position.
- Strong leadership skills and strategic flair.
- Strong hands on development, brand, and digital experience.
- Experience in delivering visual concepts and content.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to travel.
Personal Profile
We are looking for someone who can combine strategic vision with an operational can do attitude. To succeed in this role you should have a wide scope of marketing capabilities, understanding of brand building and CRM. You have a strong visual sense with experience in content creation and strong digital marketing with the ability to plan and give input on key launches and GTM timing. You are also deadline and target oriented and strong at building business processes and communicating these to the cross functional teams. We also see that you have a strong ability to think product and brand in a strategic context. As a person you are transparent, open-minded, and accountable. You lead by example and are strong at building relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
