CIP global executive search has been assigned to recruit a Head of Quality Assurance for a retail company. Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Development and establishment of standards and the compliance on quality, performance, reliability, relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing and applying quality systems throughout the product life cycle on all products.
- Driving scalable business solutions on product development and quality monitoring processes.
- Gathering, analyzing and communicating updates of standards and laws (chemicals, CE, REACH, Quality standards) as well as capturing possible infringements of products
- Ensure that the company complies with EU regulations and laws in each country
- Risk assessment to identifying quality risks and setting up control plans to address them.
- Manage sustainability reporting
- Consumer rating and reviews on products and proactively working with all stakeholders to resolve any complaints as well as setting up claims reports and recall processes.
- Environmental reporting and statistics, including validate related fees.
- Procedure of supplier audits, for the overall standards on the ground factory monitoring programs and reviewing and analyzing received audit reports.
- Following up on implementation of corrective actions in line with the CSR strategy for suppliers and products.
- Serving as main point of contact to coordinate product quality related issues. Managing product non conformances, the reported claims process and product recall.
- Contributing to company growth by increasing the number of products launched in time.
- Adapting to new processes and ways of working in transitional environment and pro-actively seeking information or training to learn as well as participating in dedicated projects.
- Define and develop the quality program related to products including KPIs.
- Reduce customer complaints due to quality issues as well as related costs on all products
- Risk assessment and mitigation plan on quality and CSR aspects for prioritized categories and/or suppliers
Profile and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related discipline.
- At least +3 years experience in a similar role
- High analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to deep dive into data to identify root causes.
- Solution oriented, target driven and keeps focus under pressure.
- Ability to analyze and define issues for improving processes.
- Strong professional integrity and ethics in relation to suppliers.
- Previous experience of sustainability reporting.
